Coach Handbags - Where To Find Them Full Price Or Discounted

By: Nicole Ross

Coach Handbags Collection at eFashionHouse

I can't think of any women that I've ever known that haven't enjoyed shopping for new handbags. I've enjoyed countless hours doing nothing but purse shopping with many of my friends or family members. Each experience was different because each individual likes were different. Some wanted handbags with cell phone and make-up compartments, where others just need it to have a separate compartment for loose change and breath mints.

No matter what type of handbag each individual got, they all had one thing in common. They each wanted name brand and at the least expensive price as possible. We all know that getting something on sale is like winning a mini lottery, but to find a name brand handbag like Coach for instance, discounted is like a slice of heaven on earth. I have personally attacked my husband with hugs and kisses when finding Coach handbags at discounted prices.

More than 50 years ago Coach opened its first outlet. They were then family owned and had 6 or 7 people running a few shops. Now there are over 300 Coach stores in the U.S alone and there are plans to open more stores internationally in the coming years. New York City is where the main headquarters resides and is a publicly traded company. Coach(COH), has offices in nineteen countries including Japan. Coach even has outlet stores all throughout the United States.

Coach stores can be found in malls all over. Its merchandise can also be found in upscale department stores such as Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Dillard's and many other stores. Coach handbags and other Coach merchandise can also be found in some boutiques.

Some of the high end designers will have an outlet store that carries items that are discontinued or just overstocked items from their main stores. Some just carry the items that were not up to par to go into the main stores so they are sent to outlets to be sold for discounted prices. These are known as irregulars. They are still genuine items and are as nice as the store items, they sometimes just have small defects to them that are so microscopic that they are not noticeable to the naked eye. Like the stitching is not 'perfect'.

Inspired by the same material baseball gloves are made from, these handbags are versatile and stylish. Since it's conception, the Coach handbag has been produced into a variety of designs, colors, shapes, and styles that have won top pick of millions of women the world over.

Coach handbags are the most sought after handbag. Since Coach is one of the most recognized name brands in the world of fashion, you will find A-list celebrities down to small girls wearing them. Coach offers many other items besides the handbag.

Coach also features womens accessories including wallets, cosmetic cases, shoes, watches, bracelets, scarves, belts, hats, sunglasses, key rings, charms and other items. They carry travel luggage, totes, briefcases, planners, baby bags, and other items for travel. They also cater to men and babies as well. For men they have shoes, ties, scarves, sunglasses, carry cases, and other items that are also made for women. Another place to shop for gorgeous Coach handbags is online.

So, if you can't get out, just point and click and let your fingers do the shopping for you. You are sure to find something of your liking when shopping from either a Coach store or outlet for a Coach handbag or whatever you choose. Many of the listed items found in the main stores or department stores can be found in the outlets, so get out there and start shopping!

A word of advise though, to save big bucks on your Coach handbags or Coach anything, try shopping online. Ebay and Amazon have everything a gal or guy could want from Coach and you don't even have to move from your favorite spot on the couch.

BAGS OF FREEDOM OR A HEAVY BURDEN?

From The Times

HANDBAGS WERE ONCE A SIGN OF EMANCIPATION. OUR CORRESPONDENT FEARS THEY’RE NOW SYMBOLS OF OUR WEIGHTY LIVES

See the hefty handbags.

“The first thing Adam purchased for Eve was a handbag,” bemoaned Anita Daniels, the New York fashion writer, in 1945. “It was his sweet revenge for the apple.” Hitting news-stands at the peak of war, this tirade over women’s most trusted accessory is a testament to the handbag’s oppressive reign, weighing heavily on both the shoulders and minds of women, even at a time of mortal peril.

Sixty years on, the liberated 21st-century woman lives in a material haven in which handbags spell unbridled luxury. Crafted out of the finest leathers — suede, croc-skin or even ostrich — encrusted with Swarovski crystals, jingling with silver accessories or perhaps a limited-edition designer piece with a two-year waiting list, the bag has replaced the shoe as the most coveted item in a woman’s wardrobe. Costing up to £15,000, the handbag has become a status symbol, a major investment and the ultimate fashion statement. It is far too important an item to be entrusted to men to buy for us.

Christian Dior humoured post-war fashionistas with delicate clutches at a time when anything practical smacked of darned stockings and ration books. But by the 1950s the determined housewife was enlarging her bag to extend her domestic efficiency, making room for cheque books, car keys, laundry-slips and diaries. When working women in the Eighties discovered that they couldn’t fit their bulging cosmetics cases into a flat briefcase, they incorporated office papers into their handbags. Now handbags are more like pieces of operative luggage. Strength, resilience, ample space and multiple pockets are all crucial.

The average weight of handbags in the UK has reached a back-breaking 3½lbs (1.6kg). Beside the basics — diary, phone, cosmetics, sanitary products, haircare, “handbag-sized” magazines, book, road map, iPod, car stereo, nipple pads, Mace or rape alarm, packed lunch, flask of coffee, water — recent additions include Bibles, crystals, self-help books and embroidery or tapestry sets, which are making a comeback as working women look for something non-electronic to help them to pass time while in transit. Yet, despite the odd vibrator, set of lacy underwear or knife, it is not the individual items that attract attention, it is the sheer number of them.

“You would be amazed at how many women carry an entire change of clothes and an overnight kit, even though they’re not staying overnight anywhere,” explains one guard at an office in Central London. “Or they’ll have a full-size bottle of hairspray, hair straighteners and an electric toothbrush. A bottle opener and tin opener are also popular.” Most items crammed into bags in the UK are simply things to make the long days more bearable. Heels to change into for work, trainers and a sweater for the train; energy bars for women who have no time for a lunch break; cigarettes and even miniature bottles of spirits are panacea for an otherwise dull day at the office. Then there are the pills. At Burberry, the security guard’s eyes glaze over when I mention medication. “Pain-killers, antidepressants, back creams, bandages for knees, plasters for rubbing shoes,” he confides. No wonder it takes more than six days to replace the contents of a handbag if it is lost or stolen.

Although the average worth of a handbag and its contents lies at £550, home insurance companies are advising that many exceed their claims limit, reaching a value of more than £1,000. Feeding off the terror of women all over Britain, Sheilas’ Wheels and Diamond car insurers both have policies specifically for handbag insurance, and NatWest has added handbag cover to its Advantage Premiere insurance benefits.

“Just in case” seems to be a theme. It’s what has given rise to the oversized hobo handbag currently inspiring top designers — complemented by copper hardware, zips, chains and padlocks. Are Marc Jacobs’s Stam, Chloé’s Paddington and Fendi’s Spy bag answering our prayers or are they simply feeding off our neuroses?
It is difficult to believe that the handbag was originally a sign of emancipation. In the 1920s, flappers deciding to go out without a chaperone first started carrying a small bag. Inside would be a few select, Art Decoinspired pieces; a pillbox, a mirror, a purse, a watch, a cigarette case.

Margaret Thatcher managed to turn her handbag into an international symbol of authority. So is the handbag an icon of power and emancipation, or a fashion item gone too far? “It’s both,” laughs the feminist critic Lillian Robinson.

“The handbag shows that our lives have moved on, that we have more opportunities. Yet our responsibilities have not been equally shared. It’s called the Wonder Woman complex. We need to do everything — have kids, a career, look after the parents, deal with finances and housekeeping. We need to be on call all the time.” And because of the handbag, we have to do it one-handed.Robinson, principal at the Simone de Beauvoir Institute in Montreal, Canada, challenges me to count the pockets on a professional male wearing a coat and a suit. There are up to 20, compared to six on the female equivalent — and even they don’t pass Robinson’ s test.

“Serious pockets — the type that can actually contain anything — get in the way of tailoring,” she explains. “Women are expected to have clothes that show off their bodies. Because of this, we are lumbered with the handbag.” In the name of research, I approach a statuesque young man stepping out of Vogue House, wearing skin-tight jeans and a simple T-shirt seemingly free of any functional pockets. “Where, if you don’t mind me asking, do you keep your wallet and phone?” He points to a demure blonde in his shadows, straining under the weight of one familiar Fendi Spy. “My girlfriend has them in her handbag.”

Leather Handbags – Health and Safety

By Maxwell Scott
In this day and age of health and safety procedures, here are a few guidelines when it comes to carrying leather handbags.

The finest Italian Leather Handbags at Efashionhouse – Emilio Pucci, Etro, Fendi, Isabella Fiore, Valentino and many more

Handbags – The Dangers
Health and safety guidelines for leather handbags!? Sounds extreme? Perhaps, but just think of all the dangers that might arise carrying leather handbags.

Office Politics
Just about every female in the world has a bag of some kind – leather handbags, fabric holdalls, strappy satchels – and if they work in an office, chances are it will be lying directly in your path. Crossing the office to make a cup of tea can be a potential tripping minefield. Dodging leather handbags, leaping over rucksacks and getting your ankles tangled in a misplaced strap can be a serious health and safety issue.

Dancing around the handbag
It’s a cliché that girls from a particular English county like to dance around their handbags. The danger here isn’t the odd mistimed dance move that could lead to a nasty pile up if someone trips on a bag strap. No, the real danger is that if you have beautiful leather handbags or designer brands, somebody could spill their Bacardi and coke over it.

Overloading
It’s tempting to scoop up every household item before you leave the house and squeeze it into your handbag. You never know, you might need that spare pair of tights or cozy cardigan if the wind picks up. But the downfall of being able to carry everything you desire around with you is you could overload. Investing in good quality leather handbags mean this sturdy material will endure the ravages of overuse.

Forget the gym – carry leather handbags
The other danger of overloading leather handbags is the increased weight. Many women can end up with serious head and neck aches and injuries if they routinely sling leather handbags that weight more than a case of beer across their shoulders. Physiotherapists are keen to encourage women to at least alternate shoulders when they carry their leather handbags around to avoid any aches and pains.

Handbags and theft
Of course one of the problems of carrying beautiful, stylish leather handbags around is they can catch the eye of not just envious women, but thieves. Although it might be tempting to swing your overloaded handbag at your assailer, it’s important that if you are a victim of crime you should never fight back or chase after the mugger – remember, no matter how valuable the contents of leather handbags are or how much you love the bag itself – nothing is as important as your life.

Fade to Hot

Fashion has been given a trendy transfusion.

Ombre, an effect where one color bleeds into another, has flowed onto some of the most eye-catching pieces of the season.

The term, which means shadow in French, is also called dip-dyed and degraded. Sometimes ombre goes from the darkest to the lightest shade of a hue. Also, the print can seamlessly combine different colors for a rainbow take. Colors can be of-the-moment citrus brights or laid back neutrals, such as black to gray or brown to tan.

Some people confuse ombre with its close cousin, tie-dye. In general, ombre is more subtle, more sophisticated than tie-dye, and less kaleidoscopic.

However, both prints are popular right now, thanks to the tribal beat that has a band of designers playing ethnic, global music. Players include Diane Von Furstenberg, Alexander McQueen, Badgley, Mischka, Chloe, Giles and Adam & Eve.

Many fashion pundits say this ombre homage began with the fall 2007 collection by Miuccia Prada, which included degraded handbags and other accessories.

This time around, dresses seem to be the preferred canvas for the latest ombre works of art. Some of the most beautiful are in a long Grecian goddess silhouette and done in a luxurious fabric, such as silk chiffon, which gives the frocks movement, creating billows of color. Talk about a statement piece. Ombre becomes more youthful when seen on a minidress, and it has a more casual feeling in a cotton sundress.

Ombre also works on separates. Look for a variety of tops from simple tees to figure-friendly tunics; great with a pair of jeans. The print paints skirts, too. It translates well on popular pleated full skirts.

Following Prada's lead, designers have created some fun ombre handbags, which go from chic clutches and sassy satchels to Titanic totes.

Another natural for ombre is the shoe. Kicks done in patent really shine.

Ombre options

* Make sure the darkest part of the fade is on the largest body part. For example, busty girls should go for an ombre dress that's darker on top.
* Only wear one ombre piece at a time. Wearing a dress, handbag and shoes done in the pattern can look cartoonish.
* Pair an ombre piece with neutral clothing and accessories in shades of brown and off-white for a safari flavor.
* Complement subtle gradations with metallic accessories.
* Incorporate jewelry in shades of the fading colors into the outfit.

Living your life as a fake for designer luxury

Giving the impression you are rich and famous is far from the truth, unless you are rich and famous! Going on a date and wanting to impress your new potential partner? Rent a luxury car. Going on a job interview and want to dress appropriate? Rent the clothing. Feeling inferior not carrying a designer handbag? Rent it.

What a waste! It's simply living your life as a lie. Here's an article we found from Daily Mail about faking a designer lifestyle. We just don't get why people need to be fake. What happened to integrity?

If you can't afford to buy it, then you shouldn't waste your hard earned cash renting it. Be real! Authenticity is awesome.

How to fake a designer lifestyle - with no extra cash
By Sadie Nicholas
from Daily Mail

Like a scene from a James Bond movie, Anna Hobbs sinks into the plush cream leather of her gleaming Aston Martin as her new Fendi bag jostles for room with a D&G gold leaf bracelet. It's a show- stopping scene, not least because most of us are tightening our belts as the credit crunch bites. Boring though it may be to keep harping on about the rising price of petrol, food and utility bills, the fact is that such mounting costs are leaving a big dent in the disposable income many of us have grown used to. So what's a girl to do to maintain her lifestyle without running up huge debts? While Anna, 37, a marketing director, has a ?70,000-a-year salary, her fabulousness is not all it seems.

Her income certainly does not stretch to the ?900 designer handbag, the dreamy ?110,000 sports car or the glittering bracelet. Her secret? Like a growing number of women, Anna simply rents her A-list status. She is a tenant of a life she aspires to, yet can't afford outright. But renting means she gets to change its components to suit her mood, keep pace with the latest trends - and impress a date. "I've splashed out hundreds of pounds on designer handbags in the past, but within months they're past their fashion sell-by date," she says.

I change my bag as often as I change my underwear

"When I heard of companies renting out such bags for less than the cost of a bottle of champagne, it was a no-brainer. It saves me a fortune and means I get to change my handbags almost as often as I change my underwear. "The same goes for cars. OK, so it costs me my annual work bonus of ?10,000 for just 40 days at the wheel of an amazing car, but how else would I get to drive something worth ten times that price?"

Anna is far from alone in her desire for experience over ownership, preferring to rent the things a girl's heart desires for a fraction of their full designer price tag. And lots of companies are offering rental schemes on everything from ?1,000 bags to ?50 million yachts, diamond jewellery, ?160,000 sports cars, sumptuous holiday homes and couture evening gowns.

You can even rent your own private make-up artist, because good grooming is a must if you are starring in your own red carpet lifestyle. Newcomers to the idea of hiring a lavish life could be forgiven for thinking it's too good to be true. But there really isn't a catch. Since husband-and-wife team James and Jo Trafford set up Handbag Hire HQ last autumn, they've seen membership rocket from three in its first week to more than 4,000. And it's easy to see why.

For the princely sum of ?7.50 a month, members get to peruse an expanding online array of designer handbags - most worth between ?500 and ?1,000. Then they simply pay a fee of between ?10 and ?35, depending on the value of the bag, to rent it for a week. 'We've spent more than ?60,000 on bags so far to cater for a varied client base, including women wanting a handbag for a special occasion and those intent on making a statement in the boardroom,' says Jo.

A ?900 handbag for ?40 a week

Keeping up with the (Bridget) Joneses isn't enough for a generation who, bombarded by the cult of celebrity, aspire to their own millionaire lifestyle. And Jo knows it. Her members want to be the ones with the latest bag while their friends are still dreaming of the day they might be able to afford to buy one. Amanda Zuydervelt, 31, is owner and editor of www.stylebible.com, a luxury lifestyle and concierge directory listing many of the companies offering lifestyles for hire.

"For most women, the ?900 price-tag of the latest Chloe handbag is out of reach, but ?40 a week to hire one definitely isn't," she says. "At the other end of the scale are women who might earn ?500,000 a year in the City, but don't want to spend ?150,000 of their salary on a Ferrari when they can join one of the many companies offering such luxuries for a fraction of the price and still get all the kudos that goes with it."

This is exactly the reason why companies such as ecurie25 are attracting hoards of style-conscious women ready to trade fantasies of themselves cruising the open roads in an amazing car for the real thing. Co-owner Flora Heathcote says: 'Buying an annual membership of ecurie25 costs ?10,750, which might sound a lot but it gives you access to around 40 days a year driving the finest cars on the planet with none of the hassles of outright ownership.

"It includes insurance, servicing, depreciation, valeting and maintenance. Not bad considering most of our cars have a price tag of at least ?100,000 and cost more than ?20,000 a year to run."But the best bit is that you get to choose from a ?2 million fleet of wheels that would leave David Beckham longing. Our cars include the Lamborghini Murcielago, Aston Martin Vantage Roadster, Audi R8 and Ferrari F430 Spider F1. "Members get to live the highway high life driving around in cars they could only dream of owning. And for most of them image is everything. Now they don't have to pay through the nose for it.

Hire a car for a hot date

"Many hire a car if they're going on a hot date or to an important event where they really want to make an impact."No doubt the same women poring over the latest Ferrari would also love the aptly named Affordable Millionaire, a business offering limited shares in chic overseas properties - a must for an A-list wannabe on a budget.

Karen Kenneby launched the company in 2005 with the aim of giving people the opportunity to snap up their own little slice of a lifestyle they couldn't afford. "We offer 13 shares in most of our properties because that means each owner can use the property for four weeks a year," she says.

"Buyers have to be members of Affordable Millionaire. They then pay one 13th of the total price of the property, which keeps it affordable and if they decide to sell their share, they pocket any profits if the property has increased in value."

Karen is offering would-be millionaires a share in plush apartments in Dubai and Paris for ?7,000 and ?300,000 respectively. And she is deluged with women desperate to snap up their own slice of a Sex And The City lifestyle with shares in a luxury apartment in Trump International Towers in Manhattan at ?160,000 each.

"What lifestyle-conscious woman would not want to stop a conversation by announcing she has an apartment in New York, without having to admit she doesn't own all of it?" she says. You could be forgiven for assuming that a girl with a rented Prada bag on her shoulder, the keys to a hired Bentley Continental in her hand and a weekend in her fractionally owned New York apartment to look forward to wouldn't want for anything else.

Designer labels without designer prices

But you'd be wrong. Diamonds are, after all, a girl's best friend, and even more so when she can borrow them for next to nothing. Sophie Garrett advertises a stunning ?10,000 emerald and diamond ring for rent "I wear the ring only a handful of times a year and it seems a shame for something so beautiful to spend most of its time locked in a safe," she says.

"So I'm offering other women the chance to hire it and dazzle their peers. It's not dissimilar to an emerald and diamond ring owned by Victoria Beckham."

Jenny Pearson recently launched www.hotrockshire.co.uk offering a huge range of upmarket and funky costume and semi-precious jewellery for rent. "A couple of years ago I was shopping for an outfit for a party and saw the most fantastic necklace, but it was ?300," she says. "Could I afford it? Well, yes, but the question I kept asking myself was whether I could really justify spending it on yet another piece of jewellery that I'd wear just a couple of times."

And that was the inspiration behind Jenny's jewellery hire website, which offers the opportunity to buy membership at ?50 per year or ?7.50 per month and then rental on an individual basis, or to rent on a one-off basis at a higher rate.

Meanwhile, girls are stocking up on designer labels without the guilt of designer prices by visiting boutiques such as The Dresser in West London, where stylists, socialites and fashion editors ditch their high- end purchases after a few outings.

They are sold on at significantly reduced prices, meaning ordinary mortals get to parade in current, or at the oldest, last season's collection from designers such as Stella McCartney or Cavalli for little more than High Street prices. And who's to know?

Sadly, though, our intrepid A-list lifestyle tenants will still have to dig into their pockets for suitable shoes. Hygiene concerns mean our favourite heels are the only ingredient of a designer lifestyle not available for rent. But what you save by hiring the rest of your red- carpet ensemble will surely pay for a pair of Christian Louboutin's finest to call your own - credit crunch or not.

A Guide To The World's Most Prestigious Designer Handbags

By : Daniel Millions

As any girl will tell you, having this season's latest designer handbag can be the difference between looking good and feeling fantastic. Whether it is Gucci or Fendi, everyone has their own individual style and taste, but all designer handbags demonstrate a woman's elegance. If you are not sure which bag to choose or want to know at little bit more about the designer labels then this article is for you. It will briefly describe three of the most prestigious designer brands in the world, namely Prada, Gucci and Fendi.

Prada: If you own a Prada bag then you will know that it holds a certain status in society. The bag defines class and luxury and will be instantly noticeable when someone is seen with one. All handbags are made in-house by Prada and this has helped it to retain its exclusivity.

Mario Prada began making suitcases and handbags in 1913 in Milan. The original bags were bulky and made from walrus hide. In more recent times, Muiccia Prada , Mario's granddaughter has ensured that the brand has evolved in the modern era. Perhaps the most popular Prada bag is the Tote. This is a perfect bag for everyday use. It is designed to just be large enough to fit all the items a girl needs to carry around but retains the stylish look that you would expect from a Prada handbag.

Gucci: Guccio Gucci established the brand in the early 1920's in Italy. Very early on, Gucci began to be associated with quality and luxurious handbags. One of the classic innovations of a Gucci handbag is the bamboo handles which are still popular today.

If you own a Gucci handbag you will no doubt be aware of the celebrity attachment to the label. A Gucci handbag is still the fashion statement of the rich and famous with many contemporary celebrities often seen with one of them. They are not cheap and it is partly this exclusivity and symbolism of luxury that is Gucci's enduring appeal.

Fendi: A Fendi handbag is probably one of the most desired fashion accessories around. It's sleek, well-crafted designs are another favorite of the famous and wealthy. The label has long been associated with the innovative designs of its long-time creative director Karl Lagerfeld.

In recent years, the Fendi Baguette has been one of the most popular handbags on the market. Its classic design and short shoulder strap makes this appealing to many women. The name Baguette refers to the way that the bag is supposed to be held under the arm, much like a French baguette.

So as you can see, owning a designer handbag is something special and helps to define a woman's appearance. Unfortunately for most girls the price tag makes these fabulous fashion accessories out of reach. However, if you know where to look you can get a bargain. Perhaps the best way to get a designer handbag at a great price is to visit the shops at the end and start of a season.

Most department stores are obliged to offer last season's handbags at discounted prices in order to clear their stock. If you get there quickly you can grab a great bargain and be seen all over the city wearing a stylish Gucci or Prada handbag.

Burberry bounces check and resurrects old icons

from designers and style

Burberry, the fashion house famous for its trench coats, has raided its 150-year-old archives for new icons it can use on its booming accessories lines other than its trademark check - which in the UK has been adopted by football fans and chavs.

Its signature equestrian knight logo, the D-rings that turned its raincoats into regulation combat wear for First World War officers and even Thomas Burberry's signature are all being made into stars for this autumn's collections of handbags, shoes, belts and womens wear.

The "multi-icon" collection, intended to mark the company's 150th anniversary, will be seen as an attempt to stretch the brand beyond the classic Burberry check, which has received a mauling from the hands of co- medians and fashion critics alike after being taken up as the uniform of the football terrace.

The new lines will be the first to hit the shops under the aegis of Burberry's new chief executive, Angela Ahrendts, who took up her post on 1 July after a six-month induction. The former Liz Claiborne number two is seeking ways to benefit from Burberry's wide reach, which makes it as popular among the high priestesses of fashion as among tourists picking up a British souvenir.

Luxury Handbags - Choose 3 Essential Bags For Your Fashion Wardrobe

Authentic Prada Leather Shoulder Bag
By Kit Heathcock

Every woman needs an elegant handbag. It is more than a fashion accessory, as it reflects your style, personality and look; it is with you all day long and keeps all your essentials safe and accessible; it puts the finishing touch to your whole image, so the finding the right bag is an important and often overwhelming decision.

How do you choose between all the many styles o f luxury bags available today? If you can afford to go mad and buy a bag to go with each outfit, then you don't have a problem (except for needing more closet space!) but those of us with a more limited budget can invest in three good quality handbags to meet all our needs and still maintain a stylish and elegant image.

1. First of all you need a handbag that reflects
your professional image to wear to work every day and complement your business wardrobe. Invest in excellent quality leather and good sleek design. Classic styles such as a crocodile or ostrich Birkins or Kelly bags, in black or neutral color s, work well and will be an investment that will last you for years, as those styles never go out of fashion. Make sure the inside of the handbag is as well designed as the exterior, with plenty of pockets and compartments to keep work papers and personal items organised and easily accessible.

MARC JACOBS MINA juta ostrich beige designer handbag. The Marc Jacobs Mina shoulder bag has the Stam design with a large snap top closure and single chain shoulder strap. The Marc Jacobs handbag measures about 17 inches at its widest point across the bottom and about 11 inches tall. The fabrication contents are 83 percent juta 2 perscent pvc and 15 percent genuine ostrich leather trim. Single large link chain shoulder strap measures about 30 inches long and is detachable.

2. You also need a casual bag for leisure t ime and weekends. Choose one of the current, fun, fashionable styles, which are big and roomy and come in a huge range of colors: a soft, sensual python hobo that fits comfortably over your shoulder or a bright tote with loads of room and long handles to tuck over your shoulder. Think carefully about the color. Will it work for both winter and summer? Is it a color that will work next year too? This bag is the one that should reflect your youthful and fun-loving inner self, so indulge yourself with this choice. Go for classic styles for your work and evening bags and have fun with this one!

ELAINE TURNER Paige stone python design

er purse. Everyone loves the Paige bag. The magnetic frame closure makes it easy to get inside. The strong secure magnet and double handles keep your items secure. Single shoulder strap is detachable. Measures about 9 x 15 x 6 inches. The python embossed leather adds style charm and a touch of class unmatched by other designers.

3. Last of all for a basic handbag wardrobe, you need an elegant evening bag. If you go out a lot you may want more than one to suit different events and outfits, but for now if you are choosing just one, go for a timeless classic that will last for years, like a simple clutch with a removable chain shoulder strap for versatility, in python or crocodile leather. Black is always a safe and glamorous choice, but neutrals like cream or brown are also endlessly versatile, withstand the changes of fashion and will last you for years.

CHANEL VINTAGE black silk evening bag. This Chanel evening bag has a black silk satin fabric with a gold chain and twist closure with black suede leather trim. There is an open slit pocket on the rear exterior of the bag. Chanel Paris is embossed on the reverse of the twist lock mechanism. The inside is lined in a pale gold leather and has the Chanel monograms. The inside has one zippered pocket with the round CC gold pull tab and one open slit pocket on the back wall. The bag measures approximately 6 W x 6 H with a 2.25 inch depth. The gold link chain strap measures about 40 inches long. Guaranteed authentic. Comes with sleeper bag.

Once you have these three basics in your handbag wardrobe you can add to them gradually over the years. Just make sure that you invest in top quality bags, which will reflect your stylish and elegant image. Luxury handbags may not be cheap but the investment pays off as they still look just as beautiful and chic after many years of use, so you can build up a fine collection of elegant bags over time.

You Can Have Your Own Chanel Handbag Collection

Authentic Vintage Chanel Caviar Handbag

By Eli Del

Aaaah, Chanel handbags. Is there anything more soft, more classic and more exciting than an authentic Chanel bag? The answer is, unequivocally, no. Most of the women that we know either have one Chanel or they don't think that they can afford one and just wish they had one. Well, it does not matter which category you fall in... we are here to tell you that you
can afford these glorious collector's items and you should start collecting right away!

So, let's talk about authentic vintage Chanel handbags. You might be wondering why this is the first step towards a Chanel handbag collection? Well, there is a simple and important answer to this question. Like most collector's items, Chanel bags increase in value as they age. To add even more value, Chanel designs are classic and timeless, so you can get at least 20 years of usage out of them before you hand them down to your children or sell them for at least twice of what you bought it for! Yes, it's true... you will double your initial investment when you sell your authentic Chanel handbag!

Another important factor to take into consideration when you start browsing and purchasing Chanel bags is to make sure that the bags are authentic! If an online vendor is selling these designer bags at prices that are too good to be true, the purses are not real! There are hundreds of factories that are taking original Chanel designs and knocking them off. These replicas will not increase in value and will still cost you a couple hundred dollars, so do not buy a fake Chanel and make sure that the authenticity of your bag is guaranteed!

Now that you know that your investment will double and that you need to confirm that the Chanel handbag is authentic, it's time for you to start shopping! We know that spending thousands of dollars on a handbag is not realistic for many women, so we have made it our goal to find the best sales online! This way we can continue adding to our Chanel handbag collection without breaking the bank and we can help other women do the same! Some of the bags are still over one thousand dollars, but we have been able to find some beautiful ones that are only a couple hundred dollars!

Check out the amazing sales that we have found an have a blast collecting authentic Chanel handbags!

Take advantage of these Chanel deals and you will have the best collection in town!!

Prada Leather Handbags - Exuding Style

Authentic Prada Leather Satchel

Vivienne Neveling
Prada leather handbags are undoubtedly beautiful and eye catching. Within their collections they have different colors, fabrics, designs and sizes, thus you have a large variety to choose from. It all comes down to what your personal style and taste is, but you will certainly get what you are looking for. With all designer handbags such as Versace, Gucci, Fendi, Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs there is one thing they have in common and that would absolutely be the eminence of their products. When creating their accessories Prada sometimes use leather, which always gives an attractive and stylish end product.

Leather was the first material ever used when people started making bags, as a simple way of carrying their coins, today times have changed and these leather bags are available in different colors and types of leather. If you already own a leather purse you will know that good craftsmanship combined with the quality offers a good investment. Prada had the "Frame Bag" which was made of crocodile leather and retailed for $15090.00, thus this leather is very expensive. In the fashion industry a dead crocodile is more terrifying dead than alive, due to the fact that if one mistake is made during the tanning process the expensive leather is worthless. However don't let the price tag scare you, there are other beautiful skins, such as buffalo, python, lamb etc which aren't so expensive.Out of all the handbags a leather bag will be a good choice. If you are not going to buy a leather purse from a reputable dealer then you should be cautious of counterfeit handbags, as Prada handbags are commonly replicated. You certainly do not want to pay a lot of money for a counterfeit purse. Inspect the handbag thoroughly and if there is one stitch out of place and it doesn't have that signature leather smell to it, you know it is a counterfeit. At the end of the day you will not get a inexpensive leather handbag and if they are too pricey and your financial plan wont allow you obtaining one, you could always consider borrowing designer handbags or perhaps buy a pre-owned handbag. If you are going to invest in a leather handbag make sure that it is not a seasonal fashion buy, this will limit you as the handbag wont be fashionable for long, rather opt for something graceful and classic. Prada leather handbags are indeed a good investment and will be your much loved companion.

MORE ABOUT Memorial Day
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Memorial Day is a United States federal holiday that is observed on the last Monday of May (observed in 2008 on May 26). It was formerly known as Decoration Day. This holiday commemorates U.S. men and women who have died in military service to their country. It began first to honor Union soldiers who died during the American Civil War. After World War I, it was expanded to include those who died in any war or military action. One of the longest standing traditions is the running of the Indianapolis 500, which has been held in conjunction with Memorial Day since 1911. It is also traditionally viewed as the beginning of summer by many, for many schools are dismissed around Memorial Day.

Many people observe this holiday by visiting cemeteries and memorials. A national moment of remembrance takes place at 3 p.m. US Eastern time. Another tradition is to fly the U.S. flag at half-staff from dawn until noon local time. Volunteers place a U.S. flag upon each gravesite located in a National Cemetery.

Many politicians and community leaders give speeches at community gatherings on Memorial Day.In addition to remembrance, Memorial Day is also a time for picnics, family gatherings, and sporting events. Some Americans also view Memorial Day as the unofficial beginning of summer and Labor Day as the unofficial end of the season. The national Click it or ticket campaign ramps up beginning Memorial Day weekend, noting the beginning of the most dangerous season for auto accidents and other safety related incidents. The USAF "101 Critical days of summer" begin on this day as well. Some Americans use Memorial Day to also honor any family members who have died, not just servicemen.

Flags flying at Fort Logan National Cemetery during Memorial Day 2006.Memorial Day formerly occurred on May 30, and some, such as the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW), advocate returning to this fixed date, although the significance of the date is tenuous. The VFW stated in a 2002 Memorial Day Address, "Changing the date merely to create three-day weekends has undermined the very meaning of the day. No doubt, this has contributed a lot to the general public's nonchalant observance of Memorial Day."

Following the end of the Civil War, many communities set aside a day to mark the end of the war or as a memorial to those who had died. Some of the places creating an early memorial day include Charleston, South Carolina; Boalsburg, Pennsylvania; Richmond, Virginia; Carbondale, Illinois; Columbus, Mississippi; many communities in Vermont; and some two dozen other cities and towns. These observances eventually coalesced around Decoration Day, honoring the Union dead, and the several Confederate Memorial Days.

Decoration Day, c. 1900. "You bet I'm goin' to be a soldier, too, like my Uncle David, when I grow up."According to Professor David Blight of the Yale University History Department, the first memorial day was observed in 1865 by liberated slaves at the historic race track in Charleston. The site was a former Confederate prison camp as well as a mass grave for Union soldiers who had died while captive. A parade with thousands of freed blacks and Union soldiers was followed by patriotic singing and a picnic.

The official birthplace of Memorial Day is Waterloo, New York. The village was credited with being the birthplace because it observed the day on May 5, 1866, and each year thereafter, and because it is likely that the friendship of General John Murray, a distinguished citizen of Waterloo, and General John A. Logan, who led the call for the day to be observed each year and helped spread the event nationwide, was a key factor in its growth.

General Logan had been impressed by the way the South honored their dead with a special day and decided the Union needed a similar day. Reportedly, Logan said that it was most fitting; that the ancients, especially the Greeks, had honored their dead, particularly their heroes, by chaplets of laurel and flowers, and that he intended to issue an order designating a day for decorating the grave of every soldier in the land, and if he could he would have made it a holiday.

Logan had been the principal speaker in a citywide memorial observation on April 29, 1866, at a cemetery in Carbondale, Illinois, an event that likely gave him the idea to make it a national holiday. On May 5, 1868, in his capacity as commander-in-chief of the Grand Army of the Republic, a veterans' organization, Logan issued a proclamation that "Decoration Day" be observed nationwide. It was observed for the first time on May 30 of the same year; the date was chosen because it was not the anniversary of a battle. The tombs of fallen Union soldiers were decorated in remembrance of this day.

Many of the states of the U.S. South refused to celebrate Decoration Day, due to lingering hostility towards the Union Army and also because there were very few veterans of the Union Army who lived in the South. A notable exception was Columbus, Mississippi, which on April 25, 1866 at its Decoration Day commemorated both the Union and Confederate casualties buried in its cemetery.
The alternative name of "Memorial Day" was first used in 1882, but did not become more common until after World War II, and was not declared the official name by Federal law until 1967 . On June 28, 1968, the United States Congress passed the Uniform Holidays Bill, which moved three holidays from their traditional dates to a specified Monday in order to create a convenient three-day weekend and for the first time recognized Columbus Day as a federal holiday. The holidays included Washington's Birthday (which evolved into Presidents' Day), Veterans Day, and Memorial Day. The change moved Memorial Day from its traditional May 30 date to the last Monday in May. The law took effect at the federal level in 1971 . After some initial confusion and unwillingness to comply at the state level, all fifty states adopted the measure within a few years, although Veterans Day was eventually changed back to its traditional date. Ironically, most corporate businesses no longer close on Columbus Day or Veterans Day, and an increasing number are staying open on President's Day as well. The holiday has endured as one where most businesses stay closed because it marks the beginning of the "summer vacation season" (similar to neighboring Canada's Victoria Day, which occurs on the prior Monday).

The Mystique of the Fendi Handbag

Fendi Double Zucca Shoulder Bag

By Scott Nichols

What do you think of when you hear the name Fendi? Fashion? Quality? Timeless Elegance? Long recognized as a trend setter in the world of high fashion, Fendi symbolizes the highest quality in craftsmanship, painstaking attention to detail and only the most fashionable of clothing and accessories.

The Baguette is most widely recognized and coveted Fendi handbag. The vintage Baguette is a Fendi handbag that is part of the pop culture of the 1990s, believed by some to be a cult object and seen by others as a status symbol. However you see the Fendi Baguette, you must agree that it is a well recognized icon in the realm of designer accessories.

Part of the appeal of the Fendi Baguette lies with its great simplicity. The short shoulder strap was a unique and revolutionary design at the time the Fendi Baguette was brought to market, and the name is so appropriate to the way the Fendi handbag is carried. The association between carrying the handbag under ones arm to the manner in which the French tend to carry their loaves of baguette bread implies both elegance and comedy.

Even though the Baguette may be the most widely recognized of Fendi handbags, Fendi has a comprehensive and diverse line of designer handbags. There are more than 100 handbags available in the current Fendi handbag line, and they range in price from $175 to more than $1,000.

The least expensive Fendi handbag is the Zucca Brown Handbag, which is both simple and practical. The retail price on this bag is $450, but it can regularly be found at the discount rate of $175. Even though this Fend handbag is at the low end of the Fendi price spectrum, it is a high-quality handbag made with the excellent craftsmanship for which Fendi is famous.

At the other extreme of the price range lies the Fendi designer FF monogram canvas shearling trim designer purse. Costing more than $1,000, this Fendi handbag is made of a combination of the highest leather with FF monogram canvas and features engraved hardware. Additional features include a full interior lining with a pocket.

There are numerous other Fendi handbags available between these two extremes of the pricing spectrum. When you decide to invest in a Fendi handbag, you will be purchasing a superior quality and highly fashionable elegant handbag that will likely last for a lifetime.

Pietro Alessandro leather bag measures about 17.5 x 2.5 x 13.5 inches. This bag converts from a tote to messenger when folded in half and can also be carried as a clutch when the straps are removed.
